Larry Behrendt

Larry Behrendt is the Chief Executive Officer of Medelix. He is an attorney with over 20 years of experience in the areas of technology, finance and corporate law. He was formerly a partner at the international law firm of Morrison & Foerster. While in private practice, Mr. Behrendt represented clients such as Bank of America, Mazda and Gateway, Inc. Mr. Behrendt is also a Microsoft Certified Professional with experience in Internet, Visual Basic and C# programming and development.

Dr. Strauss is a consultant to Medelix and is the creator of Pocket Anesthesia Pro. Dr. Strauss holds a Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College and a Bachelors of Science from The State University at Stony Book. He is board certified in Anesthesia, and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer. He has been practicing clinical medicine for twenty years in both large academic universities and small community hospitals on both coasts of the United States. He has developed technology solutions for healthcare throughout his clinical career.

Dr. Strauss was Chief Executive Officer of eComputerized Physician Records, Inc., the predecessor to Medelix. Before that, Dr. Strauss was V.P. of Business Development for 4Medica, a company that integrates clinical patient data from multiple sources and presents it to the physician via a web based interface. He is currently affiliated at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and is a member of the hospital's informatics committee.

Fred Savage, MCSD, MCT

Fred Savage is a computer consultant currently providing services on optical scanning systems, PC software, web site design and management systems. He has provided computer systems for Boeing, Sempra, JC Penney, Southern California Edison Company and numerous small organizations.

For the past six years Fred has taught computer and management courses at UCLA Extension and the University of California, Irvine Extension. As a Microsoft Certified Trainer he has taught Microsoft Certified courses in Visual Basic, C#, Web Site Development and XML. From Microsoft Fred holds MCP, MCSD, and MCT certifications. In addition to these certifications, Fred has an MBA and BA from the University of California at Berkeley.
